As a start to the 2024-2025 NATO Golf Season, we were treated to great weather and an outstanding course in the Brussels area to kick things off. Golf du Chateau de la Bawette served as the hosting course for the Barry Carr Memorial. This course, only 30 minutes outside of Brussels, has served as one of our staple venues and did not disappoint. We also had the opportunity to welcome new members to our golf club and are pleased to see growth amongst our ranks.
Steve White walked off with the trophy and established a strong start to the 2024-2025 season. As you may recall Steve had a solid 2023-2024 season and has started this year in strong form. The opening cup with stay with Steve through the remainder of the year.
Long Drive was won by Matt Silver with an absolute bomb of a drive. This is Matt’s first outing with our club.
Treavor MacLean came in first place with the closest to the pin competition.
Well done to both Matt and Treavor!
Our next outing (the Captain’s Cup) is scheduled to take place on 12 October at Royal Bercuit Golf Club. Please continue to help in getting the word out to coworkers at NATO as well as family members that they are more than welcome to join our club.
